looks like we made it

Well ladies and gents, even though the images appear to still show a stocked fridge, I think we've managed to eat up most of the perishables before departing for Utah. And what is still around we can freeze fairly well. It's hard to see in this photo, but the top shelf is *nearly* empty! Just about the only casualty will be the large pot of turkey stock we were prepping with the turkey bones which isn't a terrible loss since we would probably have chucked the bones anyway if my Dad hadn't suggested making the stock. Thank you everyone for your calls and letters of support. All of us here have especially enjoyed the canned food baskets and daily fresh flowers.

Paul, ZorbaTheGreek509, Frances, Dylan, Marcus, Scottie and Roman, Libbretti, Nectarius, Yolanda, Shaniqua, Reyanne, TomK, WhooshMan123, Tokk, Potter, Hank, and Dietrich: Thanks for the warm wishes. Morgan, Louis, Q-tip, Monroe, Jerome: The flowers brightened up our day... every single one of them! Perry: Keep the wind blowing south baby! Michigan, Alexander, and Toby: OF COURSE we won't forget! And to all the rest who helped out with your words of support, thanks again! Peace out 2006!

I did my part to make it all happen. I pounded that turkey and stuffing like a rabbit pounds mochi. Now you can rest and snowboard well knowing a moldy Gozer won't be waiting for you when you get back.
